Trucks or blazer type vehicles are best. Four-wheel drive may come in very handy in some locations and situations. You will find yourself in some wet and rough terrains so a powerful and mobile vehicle is important. You also want a warm or at least well enclosed and covered area for your hunting dogs. Custom boxes with small breather holes work great for trucks and keeping your dogs in the back of a enclosed vehicle is good too. You want to chain them up in slippery surfaces to help keep them from sliding around or getting hurt while traveling.
It is important to have a safe place to store your equipment as well. Your guns need to be in gun cases and stored in a safe place like behind the seat.
